Men’s Doubles Winter League
Des Windsor Mc Glynn and Jimmy Raleigh were the winners last Monday and of the men’s doubles winter league. John Cooney and Marek Rose earned the second placed points. The other three teams ended the night all square. John Galvin/Pat Conway, Rob Kearney/Nigel Coyle and Dave Costello/Vincent Hall/Andres Leal all collected two points each. The final series of matches this Monday will decide the overall winner and runner up positions. Des and John Galvin are tied on 29 points each while Dave is in third place with 26 points.
Ladies Tennis Competitions
Play for ladies competitions will be every Wednesday from 7.30 to 9.30. Inclement weather was the reason for last week’s cancelation.
Mixed Doubles Competitions
Mixed doubles competitions will continue every Thursday for the present, however the committee are likely to review its success and make recommendations.
Senior Spring Leagues
The closing date for entries to play in our ladies’ and men’s spring leagues is Sunday February 10th and members can register on WhatsApp or sign up on the official form in the clubhouse.
