Registration Sunday
Sunday 12th May was our first club registration day starting for adults and was followed with an excellent mixed doubles competition. After all the duos had completed their series of matches and the scores were totted up by scorekeeper Julie Costello the winning couple were Lucia Recvenco and John Galvin. Anne O’ Sullivan and Marek Rose were runners up while the following three partnerships were third placed, Deborah Mc Keown/Vincent Hall, Anne Dooley/John Cooney and Rose Costello/Michael Rodgers. All members are reminded that all fobs of existing members who have not renewed their membership by Wednesday 15th May will have their fobs deactivated. Next Sunday members and adults wishing to join a pleasant and very active tennis club can participate in another mixed doubles competition starting at 11am. Members may renew their membership and anyone interested in joining our club can register any Monday, Wednesday or Thursday or from 7.30 to 9.30.

Junior Members’ Games
Children ages 10 to 16 can register from 2pm followed with friendly competitions until 3.30. Then the younger children can register and afterwards enjoy friendly competition until 5pm.
Senior Summer Singles Leagues
The summer singles leagues groups have been arranged by the tournaments committee, positions on the pyramids were their guiding principles. Recent winners were Peter Agbanobi and Rob Kearney. All matches to be played by 13th June.

Ladies’ and Men’s Doubles Competitions
Our ladies’ and men’s doubles competitions begin Monday 20th for men and Wednesday 22nd for ladies. The top four qualifying teams from the Monday and Wednesday will compete in the finals on Thursday night. Please register on the form in the clubhouse if interested in competing.
Men’s Doubles Summer League
Cathal Kenny and Marek Rose are the initial winners of our summer doubles league. Rob Kearney and Nigel Coyle were second while joint third were Dave Costello/Jamie Waldron and Harry O’ Rourke/Sai Palada combinations. Joint fourth were partnerships Des Windsor mc Glynn/Vincent Hall and Martin O’ Rourke/John Bray. Points from five down to two have been credited to all who competed.
Ladies’ Doubles Spring League
The ladies doubles summer league commenced last Wednesday, Rose Costello and Carmel Hayes were the early pace setters collecting maximum points. Oonagh Collins and Mary O’ Neill were runners up.
Mixed Doubles Competition
Thursday evenings are an ideal occasion for new potential members to come along and play in our friendly mixed doubles competition. Play commences at 7.30 and finishes at 9.30. Last week’s outstanding performers were Sine Macfarlane and Jamie Waldron.
Summer Camps
Our summer camps will be July 15th to July 19th from 10am to 1pm and our second will be from July 29th to 3rd August, contact Clem for details, 0864022490.
Coaching
Clem is commencing coaching sessions from May 11th starting at 10am for children 4 to 8 years old. At 11 he coaches children ages 9 to 12 and from 12 he coaches older children. Please contact Clem at 0864022490 for further details.
Lisa and Clem organise friendly competitions for members every Sunday starting at 2pm for children ages 10 to 15 and from 3.30 to 5pm for younger children. Contact Lisa at 0862215843 for more details.
