Men’s Winter Doubles League
Our winter doubles league point winners last Monday were Rob Kearney and Vincent Hall, in second place were Des Windsor Mc Glynn & Sai Palada, both collecting three points. John Bray and Marek Rose were third and all other partnerships were awarded one point each. The scoreboard shows Rob, Sai and Des as joint leaders with ten points each. In second place are Dave Costello and Marek Rose with eight points each while John Cooney holds the third place on the scoreboard.
Senior Christmas Party and Hamper Competition
Our senior Christmas party takes place this Saturday with our annual Christmas hamper competition Sunday 15th from 11 – 1pm, fun will be the name of the game for the party goers, all others may enjoy the tennis.
Senior Pyramids
Lisa Brennan tops the ladies’ pyramid with Laura Hunt in second place. Anna Walsh moves to third place followed by Orla Kinahan. Rose and Julie Costello hold fifth and sixth positions.
Des Windsor Mc Glynn holds top spot on the men’s pyramid. Harry O’ Rourke and Richard Frank are second and third respectively. Rob Kearney, David Manser and Cathal Kenny hold the next three places.
Thursday’s Mixed Doubles
Rose Costello and Evgeniia Yurchenko partnered Marek Rose and John Cooney respectively and were the leading duos in the friendly competition sunshine last week.
