Men’s Winter Doubles League
The men’s doubles winter league re commenced last Monday after the Christmas break with Rob Kearney and Dave Costello combining to collect four points each. Marek Rose and John Cooney were runners up both gaining three points each. John Galvin and Cathal Kenny were third placed while Des Windsor Mc Glynn and Vincent Hall both collected the minimum each. Des leads the competition with fifteen points followed by Rob and Dave with one point less. Marek Rose has thirteen points to his name.
Ladies Wednesday Night
Deborah Mc Keown and Sarah Seoige were just two of the ladies competing and enjoying some friendly competitive tennis last Wednesday.
Thursday’s Mixed Doubles
Ladies’ captain Evgenyia Yurchenko was on hand to organise our weekly mixed doubles last Thursday and she enjoyed success with partner Sai Palada.
Sunday’s Mixed Doubles
Our weekly Sunday mixed doubles continued as usual at 11am with Rose Costello and Marek Rose winning a substantial number of games. Evgenyia Yurchenko and Pat Conway were also very competitive both playing many winning shots.
