Membership for all current members is extended to 31st May 2020. All members are encouraged to read the Tennis Ireland Guidelines, for playing tennis during Phase 1of the current restrictions, on our web site, athlonetennisclub.com, Club nights are cancelled for Phase 1, members may book the courts for singles matches these nights. Please note that booking sheets and the Guidelines, will be posted on the notice board outside the clubhouse. Access to the GAA grounds will be through the left pedestrian gate. The clubhouse may only be opened in an emergency. We acknowledge and appreciate the assistance of Athlone GAA in the reopening process.
New Members
Membership forms for new members can be downloaded from our web site athlonetennisclub.com with bank details included. Arrangement about providing fobs will follow soon afterwards.
Men’s Spring Doubles League
The last action in the men’s spring doubles league was Monday 9th March. Sai Palada and Des Windsor Mc Glynn are now the joint winners, both achieving fifteen points. Marek Rose is runner up while George Bodor and Dave Costello are joint third placed.
Club Nights
During Phase 1 of the current restrictions club nights are suspended. Members are free to book the courts and play singles matches instead.
