Christmas Hamper Competition
The Christmas Hamper Competition will take place at the club next Sunday, 05th December, from 11-1. This annual festive competition is always a highlight of the social tennis calendar, and this year promises to be no different. Traditionally members tend to don something from their festive wardrobe for this competition and, in the event of scores being tied, it may come down to the most appropriately dressed competitor! So, get an early advance on that Christmas feeling and contact Cathal Kenny (087 6250037) if you intend to participate. Rumour has it that there will be a surprise or two on the day, and some mistletoe may be present, so be warned!
Senior Winter Leagues
The senior winter leagues ended on the 30th of November. Over the last month a large number of matches were played and several players came to the fore with some very strong performances. The results will be published next week.

Club nights
Club nights continue on Monday (men’s night), Wednesday (ladies’ night) and Thursday (mixed doubles night). Play begins at 7.30 each night, so grab your racket and come on down to the club for a night of fun.
Junior tennis
Junior tennis continues from 2-4 pm on Sunday afternoons. There have been some very keenly contested matches among the juniors in the pyramid. Donal McDermott remains the number 1 for the present, and Jack O Shea has reached the number 2 spot. David O Shea kept the pressure on his brother with victory over Gearoid McCarthy. A junior Christmas Hamper competition with take place on Sunday 12th of December, so get your Christmas jumpers ready!
Coaching
