Senior Spring Leagues
The Men's and Ladies' Spring Leagues are due to be completed this Thursday with presentation of prizes that night. Harry O’ Rourke has completed his series of matches and is on 9 points and is likely to top Group 1. David Manser and Sean Raftery are leading Group 2 while Jimmy Raleigh and Kieran Mc Carthy are the leading contenders for promotion in Group 3. John Galvin leads Group 4. Lisa Brennan will probably win Group 1 of the ladies league while there are no definite winners yet for the other groups.
Men’s Spring League
Group 1: Pawel Michalski, Tim Clarke, George Bodor, Des Windsor-McGlynn, Harry O'Rourke, Arek Trebelski.

Ladies Spring League
Group 1: Paula Dowling, Lisa Brennan, Orla Kinahan, Melanie Whyte, Michele Culligan.
Group 2: Ann O'Sullivan, Joan Conway, Rose Costello, Jacinta Digby, Sine McFarlane.
Group 3: Anna Walsh, Roisin Casey, Mary Jo O'Farrell, Stephane Kenny, Mary O'Neill, Julie Costello
Men’s Spring Doubles Competition
This competition is progressing well and last week three teams shared the spoils. When the scores were totalled at 9.30 the following partnerships were level on points, Michael Rodgers and Marek Rose, Des Windsor Mc Glynn and Ghanshyam Godara, Dave Costello and John Cooney. Marek leads the scoreboard on 18 points with Des in second place on 15 points while Ghanshyam Godara has a score of 12.
Mixed Doubles Competition
This competition will be played every Sunday commencing at 11am. Last Sunday the following duos were the winners on even points, Jacinta Digby/Jimmy Raleigh and Lisa Brennan/Marek Rose. Mary Jo O’ Farrell and Dave Costello were third while Rose Costello and P J O’ Reilly were fourth.
Junior Tennis
Coach Derek Stenson has commenced his tennis lessons for junior members for children aged from 4 to 17 years. The coaching is on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays commencing at 4pm. For details of these sessions you may contact him at 0851080013 or email rallyvolleysmash@gmail.com.
Club Nights
Club nights continue every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday starting at 7.30 with continuous competitions until 9.30. Men play every Monday with the ladies competing every Tuesday and with mixed doubles events every Thursday.
